How to use Safe Move

Stage-aware movement ideas — pregnancy and gentle postpartum recovery — with clear stop signs.

Pregnancy · Postpartum

When to use it

  • You want movement ideas matched to pregnancy or recovery
  • Your clinician cleared exercise and you need a calm starting point
  • You need a reminder of warning signs to stop

Steps

  1. Open Safe Move. From Care, open Safe Move. Your journey stage shapes what you see (pregnancy vs gentle recovery).
  2. Read the onboarding / warnings. Skim stop signs first — pain, bleeding, dizziness, reduced movements, and other red flags mean stop and seek care.
  3. Pick a routine you can finish. Choose something realistic for today. Safe Move is guidance for wellness activity, not a personal training prescription.
  4. Move within comfort. Stop if anything feels wrong. You can leave mid-session — there is no penalty for listening to your body.

Tips

  • Ask your clinician what is cleared for you — especially after complications or caesarean recovery.
  • Hydrate and avoid overheating in pregnancy.

Important

Stop and seek urgent care for bleeding, severe pain, fluid leaking, chest pain, fainting, or reduced baby movements. Safe Move does not replace clinical advice.
