Delete your Velenya account

Request permanent deletion of your Velenya account and the personal data we hold for it.

This page explains how to delete your account for the Velenya iOS and Android apps. Deletion removes your sign-in account and associated care data we control. It cannot be undone.

Delete in the Velenya app

  1. Open the Velenya app and sign in.
  2. Go to Account.
  3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

The app will remove your cloud records we control, clear local care data on that device, and sign you out.

Request deletion by email

If you cannot use the in-app flow, email support@velenya.com and include:

  • The email address on your Velenya account
  • The exact request: Delete my Velenya account

We typically confirm and process email requests within 1–2 business days after we can verify the account. Support staff delete the Firebase Auth user and associated care data from the Velenya admin console.

Data deleted

When deletion completes, we remove records we control for that account, including:

  • Account & profile — sign-in identifiers, display name, avatar preference, journey stage, and related settings
  • Health Timeline & Care logs — symptoms, sleep, mood, weight, nutrition, clinic-style trackers, cycle / fertility entries, recovery and baby logs, and related notes
  • AI & chat — Super Agent chat history and related AI request records tied to your account
  • Devices & plans — push tokens, reminder preferences, meal plans, and synced device metadata we store
  • Partner View — invite codes and shared snapshot data linked to your account

Optional Apple Health or Health Connect data that remains only on your device is not removed by Velenya; revoke access in system Health settings if you want to disconnect sync.

Data that may be kept temporarily

After account deletion, limited records may remain when required for security, fraud prevention, legal, tax, or billing obligations—for example purchase / entitlement verification with Apple or Google. We do not keep your care journal for marketing.

  • Operational backups: residual copies in encrypted backups are typically purged within about 30 days.
  • Billing / legal holds: minimal transaction or compliance records may be retained longer where the law or store platforms require it (often up to the period required for financial or dispute records in your region).

Subscriptions

Deleting your Velenya account does not automatically cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Manage or cancel Pro in your store account settings (Apple Subscriptions or Google Play subscriptions).
