What is Velenya?
Velenya is a women’s health companion for exploring conception, pregnancy, and postpartum. It combines a Health Timeline, Care tools, Music, Shop, daily guidance, and safety-aware AI support. It is not a medical device.
Is Velenya medical advice?
No. Meal ideas, Contred timers, kick counts, Music, Shop suggestions, and AI answers are informational wellness tools only. Always follow your clinician. For emergencies or concerning symptoms, contact emergency services or your maternity care team.
Do I need an account?
Yes. Create a free account or sign in to use Care tools, sync your Health Timeline, Super Agent, briefings, and export or deletion. After sign-in you set your journey stage (Exploring, Pregnant, or Postpartum).
Which Care tools are included?
Shared tools include Symptom Log, Weight Tracker, Nutrition (including Can I Eat? and meal logging), Appointments, Exercise Log, Smart Alarms, Shop, and more. Pregnancy adds Baby this week, Kick Counter, Contred, Birth Plan, Notes, and Music. Postpartum splits into For you (recovery, mood, partner, Music) and For baby (Baby Tracker, Cry Soother, Notes, Baby Music).
What is Contred?
Contred is Velenya’s contraction timer with optional Calm sounds from a dedicated Contred playlist (pregnancy songs only). It helps you note timing—it does not diagnose labor. Seek urgent care if your clinician or emergency guidance says you should.
How does Music work?
Music offers stage-aware albums and a For You tab shaped by your journey and daypart. Baby Music and Cry Soother are opened by you when you need them. Contred Calm sounds use the Contred playlist only, separate from general Music tabs.
Does Velenya sync with Apple Health or Health Connect?
Optionally. On iPhone, Apple Health can import sleep, weight, hydration, nutrients, and pregnancy status when available, and may write meal nutrition estimates back (DHA stays in-app). On Android, Health Connect can sync nutrition and hydration the same way. Connect from Home or Account; you can turn sync off anytime.
How is my health data handled?
Care data syncs securely when you are signed in. Raw Health samples stay on device; AI features (when consent is on) may use a short wellness summary, not bulk raw samples. We do not sell your personal information. See the Privacy Policy for details.
What does AI processing consent control?
When you allow AI processing, Velenya may send meal photos you scan, Super Agent messages, and a short wellness summary to OpenAI via Velenya’s cloud for meal plans, chat, and briefings. The app asks for permission before enabling this. You can turn it off anytime in Account → Your experience. Free plans include a daily Super Agent chat quota; Pro raises that quota.
What is Shop?
Shop shows curated product suggestions ranked for your stage. Taps usually open Amazon or another retailer via affiliate links—Velenya may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. There is no in-app checkout.
How does Partner View work?
You can share a limited postpartum snapshot with an invited partner. Private mood notes stay off the shared view. Revoke access anytime from Partner View.
Can I export or delete my account?
Yes. In Account → Your data you can prepare a cloud export or permanently delete your account. Deletion removes profile, timeline, devices, plans, and related records we control and cannot be undone. You can also contact support@velenya.com.
When should I seek urgent care?
If you have emergency warning signs—for example heavy bleeding, severe chest pain, trouble breathing, or sudden reduced baby movement—contact emergency services or your maternity care team right away. Velenya is not a substitute for emergency care.
